GCM Program Schedule:

Recovery Meetings

GCM requires that within the first 90 days of participant in the program, all of our clients are required to attend 90 NA/AA meetings in 90 days. Following those 90 days, the clients are required to attend three (3) AA and/or NA meetings each week. Clients will be required to turn in slips signed by 12-Step secretaries as evidence that the resident has attended. Clients will also be required to obtain a 12-Step sponsor, a home group, and a sober network. The clients will also be required to actively engage with and begin working the 12 Steps with their sponsors.

Spirituality

All of the clients at any GCM house will be required to attend daily devotions every morning which are led by a staff member. Clients are also required to attend weekend church service and a weekly bible study which is held within our home on a regular schedule.

House Meetings

House meetings will be held once a week on a regular schedule. The purpose of house meetings will be to resolve any problems affecting members in the house and to discuss and address general complaints and housekeeping issues.

Life Educational Skill Opportunities (As Needed)

GCM is committed to assisting our clients in obtaining the help they need. We will assist clients with transportation, registration fees and other reasonable costs associated with obtaining the following life and social skills:

  • Budgeting/Financial Goal Setting
  • Cooking for Everyday Living
  • Home Maintenance
  • Schooling (Tutoring for GED etc.)
  • Anger Management
  • Personal Goal Setting

Regular One-On-One Meetings

The GCM director or a staff member will hold regularly scheduled individual meetings with the clients in order to set incremental, achievable weekly personal goals. Clients will also discuss their progress in recovery and any challenges that they may be experiencing. We are here to offer our support and encouragement for our clients in hopes that they will achieve their long-term and short-term goals.
